BUS 
REGULATIONS

 Any infraction of the following bus regulations is considered a safety hazard and the student will be subject to disciplinary action.

1)      Students must cooperate with and obey the orders of the driver at
all times.

2)      Students will not throw or shoot paper, water or other objects on the bus or out the windows or doors.

3)      Students will not use profane language, tobacco, matches, food, or alcohol on the bus.

4)      Once a student boards the bus, the student must remain seated while on the bus until the bus stops at their destination. Heads, hands and feet must be kept inside the windows at all times. Feet must be kept out of the bus aisle at all times.

5)      There will be no fighting, pushing, tripping or shouting at any time on the bus.

6)      Students will not willfully destroy clothing or any other property of another student or any part of the bus.

7)      A student will not aggravate or provoke the driver or other students.

8)     The following items are not allowed on the school bus:

         1) Weapons; guns, knives, razor blades, etc. (real or toy).
2) Pets of any kind, live bugs, worms.
3) Sports equipment that could endanger others; like baseball bats, pole vaults, javelins, shot puts and skateboards.
4) All electronic devices and trading cards.
5) Inflated balloons of any type.
6) Open containers of food, drink, gum, candy, etc.
7) Plants, dirt, or other growing projects.
8) Glass objects; bottles, jars, etc.
9) Oversized objects and projects.
10) Non –allowable instruments shall include the tuba, tenor sax, drums, baritone sax, bass clarinet, cello and standup bass or any other instrument that will encroach another student’s seating space. In addition, any item which can be considered a projectile or not transported easily or which creates a safety concern.
