   The Pleasant Valley School District offers bussing to all school buildings located within the Pleasant Valley School District.  The opportunity to ride the bus to and from school is a privilege that is offered to all students.

It is the intent of the Pleasant Valley School District to provide safe, efficient transportation of its students.  To this end, the school district, in collaboration with Pleasant Valley bus contractors and drivers, have formulated these regulations designed to promote acceptable behavior on the part of students while being transported on school buses.

 The Board of Education and school administrators will fully support both bus contractor and drivers in the conduct of their duties of providing for the safe and efficient transportation of students.  Equally, school and bus drivers and administrators are enjoined to fully implement the provisions of this regulation and to apply the same regarding student suspension in a consistent equitable and fair basis.
