Information about the
Pennsylvania Governor's Schools of Excellence programs is available by
calling (570) 524-5244 weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holidays. Applications
and brochures are distributed to contacts in over 900 public and non-public
secondary schools in Pennsylvania via the state's intermediate units.
The Pennsylvania Governor's Schools of Excellence applications can be viewed and
printed from this site.

The PGSE Information Line
is available to advise applicants, their parents and schools about who has the
materials locally, how to make application, eligibility, selection processes,
and program operations. The PGSE Information Line also maintains information
about other programs and services for gifted and talented youth offered by
colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. PGSE administrative personnel are
available to give presentations in local communities and at professional
conferences regarding successful teaching strategies in use by Governor's
Schools and opportunities for students.
