can obtain all these skills by signing up to take the SCHOOL TO CAREER
ACADEMY COURSE.
The course will assist students to develop the skills necessary to make
effective decisions, demonstrate effective human relation skills and apply
proper business etiquette to realistic situations. Students will apply
training and knowledge to actual work situations and evaluate their job
progress. Members of our business community will play an active roll in
this course.
The course
is available for only Pleasant Valley High School student’s grades 9 to 12.
The course will run for 10 days after school from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. for a total
of 15 hours. Students who successfully pass the course will be issued a
certificate and could possibly receive preferential interviews for current jobs.
