Library Discipline

All students have the privilege of using the school library.  With this privilege, comes the responsibility of using the library properly.  Students who do not choose to be responsible library users will face consequences.

 

RULES

  1.  Follow directions the first time they are given.

  2.  Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

  3.  Come to the library with a purpose.

  4.  Be considerate of others; enter, work,

       and exit quietly.

  5.  Use and return materials properly.

  6.  No food or drink in the library.

 

CONSEQUENCES

  1st time:   Verbal warning

  2nd time:  One disciplinary point

  3rd time:   Return to classroom

 

 

SEVERE CLAUSE

In the case of a severe misbehavior such as fighting, vandalism, defying a teacher, or stopping the library from functioning, the above consequences do not apply.  The student will be escorted directly to the principal.
