Degrees and Certifications:

I attended Ohio University for three years, majoring in early childhood and elementary education. I received my bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education, and a master’s degree in reading from East Stroudsburg University. My most recent accomplishment is earning my doctorate degree from East Stroudsburg University in educational leadership and administration.

I have worked as an educator in a variety of settings and roles. I worked in a daycare setting as a teacher and director. In a public-school setting, I taught first and second grade, was an elementary reading specialist, building head teacher, and an English Language Arts department chair. Currently, I am a first-grade teacher at Pleasant Valley Elementary School.

I am originally from Ohio. I have lived in South Carolina and Alaska before establishing a permanent residence in Pennsylvania. I presently reside in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, with my husband, Ryan, and two daughters, Amelia and Evelyn. I am a lifelong learner. I enjoy gaining knowledge from meeting diverse people and learning from new experiences. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
