  • Community Trick or Treat Night is Tuesday October 23, from 6-9pm. Admission is $6 per child, but only $5 with a non-perishable donation for the West End Food Pantry. Children under 2 are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Come in costume and enjoy a safe night or trick-or-treating throughout the high school. Games, treats and activities provided by PV clubs, sports and activities, as well as some community members.

  • Fall Ball tickets will be on sale during lunches outside the Bear Necessities until 10/19.  Tickets cost $10.  If you are bring a date who is not a student in Pleasant Valley you MUST have the permission slip in the packet filled out, ID attached, and signed by your administrator PRIOR to purchasing a ticket.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Tickets can also be purchased after school until 2:45pm in J-244.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD DURING THE SCHOOL DAY EXCEPT AT THE BEAR NECESSITIES.  See Mrs. Hunsicker if you have questions.

    Time is running out for anyone interested in snowboarding or skiing this winter.  Pick up the needed forms outside H-7, H-4, J-235 or at the JCM office.

    If you are interested in wildlife conservation, fishing, trees, farming, hunting, nature and the outdoors, join PV's state placing Envirothon team which is an academic competition team about all of those topics.  See the display outside of H-6 for meeting info and paperwork.

    Freshman Class is holding a Fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse Thursday, Oct. 18 from 4-9 and Sat., Oct. 20 from 12-4.  Bring a flyer and come out to eat.

    A 9th grade MCTI Tour will be held on Wed., Oct. 24 during the school day.  This is available to any 9th grader who would like to learn more about Monroe Career and Technical Institute.  Sign up in Guidance--parent permission forms are due by Fri., Oct. 19.

    There will be a SADD meeting on October 22 in H-3.  All new members are welcome.

    There will be a junior class meeting on Mon., October 22 after shool in Mrs. Phillips room.  All juniors who would like to participate in Halloween Community night should attend.

    We are having an Orange Out day this Friday for Schyler Herman.  Schyler is a PVHS sophomore who has been battling leukemia since last school year.  You must pay $2 to dress down.  No yoga pants, hoodies or ripped jeans.  Your shirt must be orange.  The proceeds are going to Schyler and her family.

    Today, October 19, is the last day to sign up for the 9th grade MCTI tour.  Parent permission forms must be returned to guidance by Monday, October 22nd.
