    Individuals currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania approved college or university education preparation program and have completed at least 60 semester hours of course work can qualify to subsitute for the Pleasant Valley School District.

    College Students:

    • Must be currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania approved college or university teacher preparation program
    • Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours
    • Must be of good moral character
    • Must obtain all required clearances and other district required forms

     

    Individuals who hold a Bachelor's degree in any major, from an accredited college or university can be issued an Emergency Permit to substitute teach on a day to day basis.

    College Graduates:

    • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in any major
    • Must participated in a two (2) day training at Pleasant Valley School District or the Colonial Intermediate Unit #20
    • Must be good moral character
    • Must obtain all required clearances and other district required forms
