Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Adams I am the Elementary School Counselor for first grade here at PVE. This is my fifth year at PV and I am very proud to be part of the PV community. I previously worked as a school counselor in the East Stroudsburg Area School District for eight years.

I earned a B.A. in Psychology from Wilkes University and a M.Ed. in Elementary School Counseling from Penn State University. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor. Prior to working as school counselor I was a professor of psychology at Northampton Community College. I grew up in the West End of Monroe County and still live there today with my husband and two children.

My goal as a school counselor is to promote the academic, personal/social, and career success of all students. Throughout the year I will be conducting guidance lessons in your child's classroom. I will also facilitate small counseling groups. I look forward to working with you and your children throughout the year!
