Purpose
The Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation (PVEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in the Pleasant Valley School District (PVSD) by annually awarding grants to passionate and dedicated teachers. Our foundation recognizes that teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the future, and we aim to empower them to innovate and enhance the learning experience for their students.
Our Core Objectives
Fostering Innovation: We believe that innovative teaching methods can have a lasting impact on students. Therefore, our foundation seeks to identify and support teachers who are implementing creative and forward-thinking approaches in their classrooms.
Empowering Educators: We provide financial support to educators to help them realize their teaching visions. Our grants can be used for a variety of purposes, including purchasing educational materials, accessing professional development programs, and implementing special projects.
Inspiring Learning: We understand that the enthusiasm and dedication of teachers can ignite a passion for learning in their students. By supporting exceptional educators, we aim to inspire the next generation of lifelong learners.
Supporting Students: We support effective instruction by helping to provide those tools and resources that will motivate students toward the successful completion of their K-12 education through a focus on removing barriers to learning and empowering instructional staff. As a result, our entire community reaps the rewards of a well-educated population.
