Comprehensive Plan
Pleasant Valley School District Comprehensive Planning
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
The Pleasant Valley School District undertook the state-mandated comprehensive planning process that requires a new plan every three years. Our plan is a compliance document utilizing a "Ready, Set, Go!" structure. It aligns with Dr. James Konrad's 2024-2025 District Goals, addressing current state accountability requirements and outlining initial steps towards a broader vision. We value your input in shaping this plan.
- The Ready step outlines the steering committee, the district profile, mission, vision, and values of the District.
- The Set step includes a needs assessment and summarizes strengths and challenges.
- The Go! step incorporates goal-setting action planning and the creation of corresponding professional development strategies and communication methods.
The Comprehensive Plan review also includes a review of the following additional plans:
- Academic Standards and Assessment Requirements (Chapter 4)
- Gifted Education Plan Assurances (Chapter 16)
- Student Services Assurances (Chapter 12)
- Induction Plan (Chapter 49)
- Professional Development Plan (Act 48)
