“A good teacher must be able to put himself in the place of those who find learning hard.” Eliphas Levi
This is my 13th year teaching in the Pleasant Valley School District. I earned my B.A. in K-6 Education from Wilkes University in May 2005. I finished my Masters in Educational Development and Strategies in 2011 also from Wilkes University. I continue to take professional development classes to stay current with educational trends and provide the most up to date research-based instruction to my students.
I believe it is my role as a teacher to guide my students toward understanding and help them become the best version of themselves throughout the school year. I am caring, nurturing and a positive role model for my students (as well as pretty funny!). I believe in teaching the whole child and not just the curriculum. I love having the opportunity in my job to influence and impact young lives.
In my spare time I am busy chasing my two little boys. I enjoy cooking, spontaneity, day trips, and making people laugh. I am proud to be a PV Bear and look forward to great things in our school!
