Our 5th grades will review our notes and rhythm values and learn the line and space note names for the Treble Clef using fun games and technology and singing fun exciting songs. Finally, 5th grade will learn about the Piano and play simple melodies on the keyboards and piano. Our 6th grades will be learning about American Pop Music through the decades using technology, library resources, videos/dvds and listening/performing various pop culture songs. I look forward to our new and returning PVI students joining our 4th, 5th and 6th grade choruses this year. There will be some fun exciting new songs for our Spring Chorus Concerts in May. I use the PVI newsletter , website and Connect Ed messages and student music bulletins to inform parents of upcoming Spring Concert information as well as PVI Drama Musical information. Also, pictures of all three Choruses and the musical are included in the PVI yearbook.
