My name is Jessica Colon (formerly Pell). I was born in Colorado. My family then moved to New Jersey where I spent my childhood. After I met my now husband, Brian, we bought a house in Pennsylvania. We live in Bethlehem with our daughter, Morgan and boxer named Banx. I enjoy being outside in our backyard and gardening. I also love to read novels. My favorite place to visit is the beach, however, lakes and mountains are growing on me. I might need a lake house some day.

I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. When I was in second grade, I had a teacher named Mrs. Sweeney. She was like a second mom to me as my parents had gone through a divorce. Mrs. Sweeney did everything in her power to make sure that I felt loved, important, and learned and forgot about what was going on at home. I enjoyed school so much that year and I remember saying, I want to be the difference in someone's life like she was in mine.
