    Mr. Triolo began his path in education at East Stroudsburg University in 1999 and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Health.  In the winter of 2005 Mr. Triolo became a long-term substitute at Pleasant Valley Middle School, and in the summer of 2005 he was hired as a full-time Health and Physical Education teacher at Pleasant Valley Intermediate School. 
    While teaching, Mr. Triolo coached football and girls basketball, and he also completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.  In 2009 Mr. Triolo transferred to the High School to teach Health and Physical Education, and in 2012 he became the High School’s Dean of Students. After serving as Dean for three years, Mr. Triolo had the opportunity to be an Assistant Principal at Stroudsburg Area High School and took the challenge. He left the district in 2014 only to come back in 2017 to Pleasant Valley High School as an Assistant Principal.  When Mr. Gress retired in the summer of 2017, Mr. Triolo was given the wonderful opportunity to be the Principal of Pleasant Valley High School, and he has assumed this role ever since. 
    Mr. Triolo currently resides in Kunkletown with his wife Gwen and his three children: Lila, Noah and Ben.

    Meet Mrs. George...

    The 2019-2020 school year marks Mrs. George’s 27th year in public education.  Mrs. George prides herself in being a positive outgoing person.  The following is her work experience and education:

    1993-1995- Ramsey Elementary Paraprofessional

    Pleasant Valley School District:

    1995-2006- JCM Intermediate School/Pleasant Valley Intermediate School Full-Time Sixth Grade Teacher

    2006-2012- Pleasant Valley Intermediate School Sixth Grade Math Specialist 

    2012-2018- Pleasant Valley Intermediate School Dean of Students

    2018-present Pleasant Valley High School Assistant Principal

    1992- Undergraduate East Stroudsburg University-  Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology 

    2000- Postgraduate East Stroudsburg University Master’s Degree Professional Secondary Education/PA K-12 Principal Certification 

    Currently, Mrs. George resides in Palmerton with her husband Shawn and two dogs.  Mrs. George has two sons.  Her oldest son Cole is currently serving in the United States Army and is stationed at Fort Hood,Texas.  He most recently has been deployed to South Korea.  Her youngest son Mason is a freshman at East Stroudsburg University majoring in Health and Physical Education.  Mrs. George loves to spend time with her family.  She also enjoys spending time exercising with her many friends.

    Mr. Sodl has been an educator for nine years before coming to Pleasant Valley High School as an assistant principal in 2017. For the first two years of his career he was a Life Science teacher at Nitschmann Middle School in the Bethlehem Area School District.  Then from 2010-2017 he was a high school biology and chemistry teacher at Freedom High School, also in the Bethlehem Area School District. While at Freedom High School, Mr. Sodl was an assistant varsity/head JV men’s soccer coach from 2010-2017.   

    Mr. Sodl graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lebanon Valley College in 2008. While at Lebanon Valley College, Mr. Sodl was a member of their Men’s Soccer team and active in many clubs and organizations. Mr. Sodl earned his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2012 and his administrative certification in 2014, both from Lehigh University.

    Mr. Sodl currently resides in Slatington, PA with his wife Julie, daughter Josephine, and their two dogs.
